SPANISH 210: Intermediate Spanish (5)
     
Why? This course is intended to fulfill the liberal arts language requirement. Emphasis is cross-cultural and conversational. Vocabulary and awareness of Spanish-speaking cultures are expanded.
Content: Hispanic culture through readings, including views on education, social customs and cultural traditions, Hispanic literature, review of grammar.
Format: Lecture/discussion with Spanish conversation.
Evaluation: Objective exams, oral quizzes and reports, compositions.
Prerequisites: Spanish 112, two units of high school Spanish or departmental consent required.
Recommended for: Area studies majors, international business and cultural anthropology majors.
What Next? Spanish 220, 223, 225 (may take two at same time).
