Students will gain a deeper understanding of the Hebrew Bible by practicing close reading of these texts from a number of different perspectives. |

| RELIGION 115: New Testament (3) | |
| Why? | The New Testament is a document that has shaped Western culture more than any other. This course allows students who are unfamiliar with the New Testament texts to develop a critical appreciation of them. It enables students who already have some familiarity with these texts to see them in a challenging new light through historical and literary analysis. |
| Content: | The four Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, the major letters of Paul, and the Book of Revelation. |
