COMMUNICATION 190: Intro to Human Communication (3)
     
Why? Communication is essential to all types of human relationships. This course introduces students to the nature, dynamics and strategies for effective human communication. 
Content: A survey of the field of communication, including alternative frameworks for how humans cope with and control their communication environments. 
Format: Lecture/discussion.
Evaluation: Examinations, reports and outside exercises.
Recommended for: Students interested in gaining a better understanding of human communication.

Note: This course uses multimedia instructional methods. Both writing and creative thinking are stressed. Personal approaches to human communication are emphasized.
