A student's initial administrative home is the LAS Advising Center or the college/school that houses the student's declared major or program regardless of the number of hours completed or grade point average. Students must, however, abide by college/school academic standards.

Note that entry into a college/school does not mean automatic entry into a specific major or program since some majors and programs have additional requirements such as specific grade point average or a specific application process.
